Melanie Cavallaro, MS, LMHC, EMDR
Melanie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping others reach their full potential by healing from within. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, stress, behavioral issues, and relationship issues. Melanie is a certified EMDR therapist.
As a former teacher and certified school counselor, she has worked with families and youth for more than 14 years. She has advocated for individuals throughout her career to ensure the best possible outcome for all those she has served. Her training in restorative practices, suicide prevention, and trauma informed care provides additional skills to work with clients that are struggling in these areas.

Angela Vann, MS, RMHCI, EMDR
Angie is a dedicated registered mental health counselor intern helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional well-being. She specializes in trauma, relationship conflict, codependency, anxiety, and depression and uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. With a client-centered philosophy, Angie creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives. The therapeutic approaches that Angie frequently utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Existential therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and EMDR therapy.

Michele Dennis, MS, LMHC
Michele is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. When asked what words best describe Michele’s professional abilities, the words astute and compassionate come to mind. Michele has a passion for helping children ages 5-11 years old navigate and learn coping skills for numerous types of difficult situations. However, she also provides counseling services to adults ages 18-65 years old. The therapeutic approaches that Michele frequently utilizes are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy (children) and Psychoeducational interventions.
Michele has worked with children and families for more than twenty years, starting in the field as a Family Case Manager in the Florida Child Welfare System. Since completing her master’s degree program in Psychology and Counseling, she has been providing individual and family counseling services for the past fifteen years in a variety of settings, including community settings, public school settings, and private group practice.
“Life can be hard and often presents us with challenges and difficulties. Frequently, having someone trained in mental health who is objective, empathetic and highly skilled in active listening can help you process potential solutions. My area of expertise is working with children aged 5-11 years old struggling with depression, anxiety, anger management, divorce issues, parental conflicts and uncomplicated grief. I also provide therapy services for adults dealing with depression, anxiety and offer an evidence-based parent education program. I believe in an eclectic approach to therapy, pulling from several different types of treatment interventions, depending on each individual’s specific needs.”
